some suicides are never recorded
the paperwork alone is worth that much more
and like the winter sand of the jersey shore
the dead are unofficially forgotten

they are mysteries that solve themselves
without a need for a detective with a kidney stone
most of them finish their journey right there at home
and without much to say beyond "i'm sorry"
