the purpose or meaning

to me, it's just nonsense
amongst violent nodding
and prodding of numbers
to show there's a god
and here i thought
there was not

how stupid of me
to miss the beginning
of such a conclusive
and logically spinning
of everything i
always thought of as wrong

this peaceful, hopeful, inspiring song
could turn any skeptic
no matter how strong
but they must be there
alert, all along
