mediocre poets too have writers block
and milk does sometimes expire early
and a big-breasted girl with a name like shirley
can sometimes bring coffee to me in a dream

given the forgettable nature of my being
i doubt if many months will pass before my second wife remarries
and in my grave, with spoiled milk and rotting cherries
i will really be struggling with writers block
