i write comments on republican walls
with a tone of polite and distant wonder
much different than my style of pillage and plunder
that i usually employ against manipulative "facts"

and there is nothing wrong with crawling on the floor
in search of stale crumbs from the elitist tables
repeating (like the animal farm sheep) the morals of contradictory fables
fabricated by people with little sense of long term economic growth

but it's not for me
i like to be
healthy
not hungry
happy
and free

i like to own
all that i payed for with my sweat
and no more than that
because i still have to repay the chimps in prehistoric caves
as well as the american indians and the american slaves
and all the tortured souls on city streets
that reach out their infected hand for something to eat
