the saddest truth about this beer
is it will never be the same
i left it sitting out here
for days and days and days on end

last sunday, one example
the a.c. got shut off while i was gone
gave the beer a hell of a sample
of what it means to be warm and alone

from all the errors of my doing
the taste of consequence is hard
but i don't send it for rebrewing
i drink it down, it's all i am, it's all i got
