she wrote for future generations
of people bored with bard rhythm

i wrote for past generations of idiots:
a wholly untapped market

unfortunately (an egotist would think) for emily
fame only found her after her death

on the other hand, fame looked for me early,
before i was born in fact, and it found nothing
